Mind & Body expert Leanne Hall has partnered with condom brand, Moments Condoms with the goal to empower young women to celebrate and protect their sexual health. Speaking on a panel at the new Australian companies launch event, Leanne spoke to her extensive experience in clinic where she has counselled many adults struggling with relationships and sex.
One of the common issues causing anxiety for many of these clients relates to the social pressures and gender role expectations around sexuality, and how these pressures play out in the way we communicate and relate to others. As such, she understands many of the perceived barriers when it comes to feeling sexually empowered!
Key findings from recent research conducted by YouGov in 2017 & show that only 32% of young Australian women are very comfortable buying condoms with the majority citing embarrassment and/or judgement from others as the barrier to purchase.
Designed to be discreet and minimal, the brand aims to “support young women to talk about condom use and encourage them to make informed choices with confidence,”.
Five percent of each pack sold at retail by this brand is donated to the McGrath Foundation, a national breast cancer support and education charity.
