With new research results revealing that more than three quarters of Australian women not sure if they are at risk of breast cancer, Pink Hope has joined forces with well- known TV personality, Shelly Horton to encourage women to be dense aware.
On being a part of the campaign, Shelly says:
“Until I got involved in the Pink Hope #knowyourrisk campaign I didn’t even know that dense breast tissue is a risk factor for breast cancer. Now I know it’s vital to know your breast density. So please, don’t be dense, ask your doctor.“
With the campaign being close to heart, Shelly hopes women will use the Pink Hope #knowyourrisk tools and educate themselves plus also in sharing her experience will encourage other women to take charge of their breath health too.
