The Suite Life - December 2023

Before I get started on my Christmas prep, I’m taking a moment to catch my breath and reflect on a roller-coaster year. There have been incredible highs, including our 10th birthday in September, welcoming some exciting new talent to the fold, and seeing our talent kicking fantastic career and personal goals; and of course there have also been some lows, with unsettling world events, and broader economic challenges.

Yet as I weigh it all up, there are so many things to be excited and positive about. So in the spirit of celebration, here’s a snapshot of what the TLS family has achieved this year. Between them, our talent have:

  • Published 7 new Books

  • Appeared in 9 TV Shows

  • Featured in over 120 Brand Campaigns/Ambassador Partnerships

  • Delivered over 100 Keynotes and Events

We also welcomed 5 new talent to the fold.

And 2024 looks set to be even bigger.

As we approach the holiday season, I hope you too can find plenty to appreciate and celebrate. I’m wishing you all a warm relaxing break full of laughter and joy. Thank you for all your support in 2023, and I’m looking forward to working with you again next year.

International Day of Persons with a Disability, which is this Sunday 3rd December is always a big highlight on Ellie Cole’s calendar. As Australia’s most decorated female Paralympian, Ellie is a high profile voice advocating for ways we can better meet the needs of people with a disability. Here's what Ellie has to say about the day: "I lost my right leg to cancer in 1994. I came out of the operating theatre, and suddenly joined the thousands of Australians who live with a disability. I do my best to live my life to the fullest every day.. And I live with my disability every day. Which is why International Day of People with Disability on Sunday 3 December is all the more important to shine a light on the diverse ways in which inclusion makes a difference in our family, social, cultural and economic lives every day. Together we can work to make the world better and fairer for people with disability."
