Competitive fisher and junior female world record holder – Indy Thompson is also a marine scientist. In life as in her sport, Indy defies stereotypes empowering other young women to experience the thrill of fishing coupled with her advocacy work in and passion for marine sustainability.

Earlier this year, Indy lit up screens in 9’s The Summit where despite being afraid of heights, her courage and willingness to tackle the gruelling challenge made her an inspiration to audiences.
